We believe trust comes from openness. Our cremation facility is designed to provide respectful, professional care for your pet, and peace of mind for you, at every step of the process

A Quiet, Private Setting

Our facility is located on a large, beautifully landscaped private property in Courtenay. Families are welcome to visit by appointment. We simply ask that you call ahead so we can give you our full attention

Certified, Purpose-Built Crematorium

Our modern crematorium is fully certified by BC Safety Authority. We operate two cremation units:

  • A smaller unit for pets up to approximately 150 lbs

  • A larger unit for large pets, small farm animals, and communal cremations

This allows us to schedule cremations appropriately and efficiently based on size.

Thoughtful Care Before Cremation

We are the only pet crematorium on the island with a walk-in cold storage room, rather than chest freezers. Each pet is carefully identified upon arrival and scheduled for cremation. Our goal is to complete cremations within 24 to 48 hours whenever possible.

Witness Cremations Welcome

Families may choose to be present at the start, during, and after the cremation. A small waiting room is available for your comfort throughout the process.

Transparency & Documentation

Every cremation, whether private or communal, is carefully logged, including:

  • Date and time
  • Pet name and weight
  • Clinic or family reference
  • Cremation unit used

For added accountability, all cremations are recorded on video. If you wish to view your pet’s cremation, we can locate the corresponding footage using our detailed logs.
